SAMRA-Accredited Researchers (SARs) | Recognising South Africa’s Leading Market Research Professionals

The designation of SAMRA-Accredited Researcher (SAR) represents the highest professional recognition awarded by the South African research community. SARs are fully SAQA-accredited market research professionals who have demonstrated sustained leadership, advanced methodological expertise, and a deep commitment to ethical research practice.

To qualify, candidates must hold a minimum of five years’ SAMRA membership, including at least three years in a research management role. Beyond tenure, they are required to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge across the full research spectrum, from credible general research principles to advanced qualitative and quantitative methodologies, as well as proven experience within the evolving digital research landscape. The SAR designation, therefore, signals not only experience but professional excellence and industry trust.
